ROSEVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) -
Roseville police confirm both men who were shot behind the REI store in a strip mall were killed in a murder-suicide on Thursday afternoon.

Responding officers were directed to the warehouse and truck entrance of a multi-tenant building near County Road B2 and Prior Avenue at 4:15 p.m. by roofers who were working in the area at the time of the shooting.

Upon arrival, a 33-year-old man was found dead and a 44-year-old man was found with a life-threatening head injury in the parking lot near CPI Card Group, a business that specializes in making gift cards.

The 44-year-old man was taken to HCMC, but he died of his injuries at about 6 p.m.

According to police, the pistol used in the shooting was recovered near the 44-year-old with the head injury.

Investigators took a 35-year-old woman who was on the scene and may have witnessed the shooting into custody for questioning. She was not injured and is cooperating with police.

According to police, the woman and the 33-year-old victim are CPI employees. The 44-year-old man is believed to be the woman's husband.

Neither man's identity will be released until family members are notified.

No suspects are being sought, but Roseville police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension continue to investigate and are currently holding a Toyota Land Cruiser and an older-model Audi in connection with the shooting investigation.

Police hope to learn more after reviewing the surveillance video from cameras at the business. Additional details could be released as soon as Friday.

According to family member of the dead (Joseph Yang), this is a case of rumor out of hand. There were 4 people involved--I call it A, B, C, and D. A is Mr. Yang, B is Mr. Vang, C is Mr. Vang's wife and D is the supervisor also a Hmong.

Person D, the supervisor, want to have affair with C, but A is the lead-man and whatever problem or concern C and or others workers have, they have to ask A. And D is jealous and thinks that A will eventually get to C's pants before him, so D told or lied to B that his wife (C) had affair with A. And then B without investigating the rumor, confront A regarding his wife. A get so furious because he has never had affairs with C who is B's wife. So A challenge B to meet him at the work place parking lot to settle the dispute. B and C were there to meet A, after a few words B take out his gun and shoot A then shoot himself in front of C.

In my opinion, D is the person who deserve to die because he is the one who wants to have affairs with B's wife not A. But since both A and B are dead then D can have C all he wants...ha ha ha what a good soap opera. Stay tune for the next episode.

Sorry for my sarcastic remark regarding C and D. I send my condolence and sympathy to the stricken families.
