I've seen a "Cob Fab" flag, but I don't think this represents the world
wide Hmong (althought it claims so). Why need a national flag when you
have no country? This sounds very conservative, but think about it.

You don't need a country to have a flag. A flag represents a people of a nation not just the country!! Why do people always think the flag belongs to the county only. It is the unifying symbol of the people of that country!!
I am teaching my second grade class about flags and have been
searching
for a flag for Hmong, because I have a little Hmong boy. But I haven't
been able to find any. Is there a flag? Or is it with another country.
One teacher thought it was with the Cambodia flag but we are both
unsure. Thanks in advance!

DURING MOST of our time before 1975 we were just came to be NO ONE in someone ELSE COUNTRY so we were NO PERMIT to raise a FLAG of our OWN. YEP YAJ SOOB LWJ taught a SET of HMONG ALPHABET along with raising a HMONG FLAG. GUESS WHAT? the place was BOMBED into dusts/ashes. after 1975 those of us who did NOT get AIR FLIGHT with GENERAL VANGPAO were left BEHIND when the COMMIE RED LAO CAME to POWER we were target for TERMINATION ehich mean we can NOT simply hand them our hand to be lock away in RE-EDUCATION CAMP so we RAN into the JUNGLE. when we were in the JUNGLE there was a SAUB (VANGKOUA) who knew what YANG SONG LUE' FLAG and he guided my father to CRAFT a HMONG FLAG just suitable for a CAUBFAB military rank FLAG. HERE'S WHAT it looks like

- it has 1 SUN &1 MOON
- it has 4 XOB/THUNDER on 4 corners
- it has 4 arrow shapes to represent LAIM XOB ( the thuner' WEAPONS)

- the main fabric was RED & the sign were ALL YELLOW.
check THIS:

SAUB VANGKOUA VERSION that he guided my father to CRAFT looks like the one in this VDO EXCEPT this one in the VDO lacks LAIM XOB the thunder's WEAPONS. I GUESS Sub vangkoua version was for military leader upto rank GENERAL he said that's WHY it got WEAPONS too. I MISS MY CAUBFAB TIMES * TEARS FLOWING* *SNIFF* *SNIFF* *SNIFF* SAUB SAID the national VERSION will be larger but the design signs are in the same THEME. I HAD NOT SEEN the national VERSION but my father STILL got that flag here in USA. carefully fold and keot away.

it looks the same as the one in that YOUTUBE VDO the different is it got LAIM XOB to go with those thunderers at 4 corner. COMMIE fxhob zss CAUBFAB ov MAG XOB TUA NAWB. POS OO POOG! NTOS W NTWG9 ces COMMIE PW TWJ YWM 5 NTI LI LAWM mus 1 sim neej.
